What a week

Ok can I just say I haven't had a week like this in a while. It started with Ryans' knee and ended with Marissa breaking her arm, elbow, and dislocating her elbow. It was a doozy to say the least. I got a call at 1 from the school saying that they wanted to call an ambulance for her because she broke her arm when she fell off the monkey bars. I freaked of course since I was 40 mins away at home. I ran out of the house forgetting Ryan and Grace and then remembered when I was in the car. I showed up at school and Justin and his parents beat me there (long story). We had a long (ridiclous) discussion about whether to take her to the peditricians (justin's moms idea) or the ER (my idea) mind you her arm looked like the letter Z and it had lumps the size of baseballs under her skin. We ended up at the pediatricians (some idiot put her in the back seat of his mothers car) they looked at me like I had a third eye and told me to go straight to the hospital. Long story short we were told 2 times by 3 dr's that she would have surgery. I signed consent forms and was discussing the way they would pin it back together. We prayed sooo hard for God to heal her. God answers prayer. She has a cast up to her shoulder and will have it for sometime but no surgery. I was sooo scared we have been thru surgery with her before and I didn't want to go down that road again. Whall she was in the hospital I prayed with her and then we talked and I told her I know God gave her to me to teach me something and she looked me in the eyes and told me "manners". Apparently the little angel thinks her mommy needs a lesson in manners. Oh well she is the most humble, giving, self sacrificing person I know and I am willing to take a lesson in manners from her anyday!!!

My poor son

Please say a prayer for my son Ryan. He was in a bounce house on sunday and hurt his knee pretty bad. He has an MRI on thursday. He is heart broken because he was supposed to go on the church campout this weekend with his dad and was so excited. Please remember him in your prayers because he is in pain both emotionally (about the campout) and physically.

Flat Stanley

This is a picture of Ryan Marissa, and Grace (Zach didn't want one) with Flat Stanley. My niece in New Mexico sent him to stay with us for a few days. We are supposed to send him back with pictures of what he did when he was with us. Zach decided to dress him up with a got milk hat and a milk jug. The girls enjoyed sleeping with him in there beds although I moved him so he wouldn't tear. I hope my sis checks this out to see what Mr. Flat has been up too.

Wow they have grown up haven't they!! I miss the days of matching baby clothes (Grace was a big girl) they were ready for school and it was a cold day that is why they have such big jackets on. I miss the warm weather that's for sure. I am happy to say I have great little girls they are both very helpful only giving an occasional eye roll. I know everyone says that their boyfriends will have to worry about Justin but I will definetly give any guy who wants to date my girls a run for their money.

Wow I haven't been here in a while.

Well most of you know of the going's on's in our life but for those who don't I will update you. Ok here goes. First, as most of you know yes we were on the show "Wife Swap". With that said we are still normal and we did actually enjoy the experience. Obviously the family I visited was polar opposite of us and that is what the show is about so yes there was conflict but not to much. Next, I have decided to go back to school. I have always for as long as I can remember wanted to be a nurse. Grace will be in kindergarten full time next year so now is a good time to start. I am excited to go back and also Justin is amazed at how smart I am. I on the other hand am mad at how amazed he is. I hope to get into the nursing program next spring God willing. I am amazed at how grown up the kids are. I thank the Lord everyday for the many blessings he has given us. I pray he continues to bless us with health and strength. Justin had surgery 2 weeks ago for a hernia and all went well (there is a reason men don't have babies) I hope you are all happy I updated this and I will do my best to do so regularly. I should go now I hear my girls talking about their boyfriends and I am going to put the kibosh on that one :)

Long time no talk. we are busy but i still check in all the time. tomorrow we have family pics and as a typical woman i am stressing out. i can't figure out what to wear and how i will do my hair etc. I am still having mother in law drama though. we went over there on friday and my sister in law was home. my girls love playing dress up so my sister in law asks my mother in law where the dress she wore in my wedding was so the girls could wear it. my mother in law declared that she threw it away. ok her exact words were " that thing got lost in the move". my husband said mom you threw it away? you never throw anything away and you threw the dress she wore in our wedding away. needless to say he got an earfull on the way home and i truly am hurt. oh well my mom is all i need anyway. she is coming tomorrow so that will be a welcome change an actual person who understands me THANK GOD!!!! well now i must go and try on some more outfits i am not gonna pay for pics and look like crap. wish me luck.

Have you seen my cheese???

Oh the humanity we have lost the cheese.. literally we lost a big block of stinky cheese in our house. we went for a quad ride with our kids and justin's grandma had sent a block of cheese from the dutch bakery in chino. for some reason he had it with him (i am thinking he got it out of the fridge in the barn) he put zach in charge of the cheese. they got off the quad in the back of the dairy i for sure know the cheese was with us at that point. they then found the worlds most amazing catapillar (well to them at least) we then rode home. the cheese made it to the door the kids realized catapillars need to eat they ran off with the cheese and from that point it is a mystery. i believe they put it down in which at that point our lab swooped in and snatched it. my husband the cheese lover is with me on that one. my children are trying to convince me otherwise. they said zach passed it off to grace and she gave it to marissa and marissa did not want it so she gave it to grace and you can tell where this is going. so they have me searching my house since they are adiment that it made it in. so if you find my cheese please let me know because i am sure once it starts to smell we will all know where it is!!!!!
