What a week

Ok can I just say I haven't had a week like this in a while. It started with Ryans' knee and ended with Marissa breaking her arm, elbow, and dislocating her elbow. It was a doozy to say the least. I got a call at 1 from the school saying that they wanted to call an ambulance for her because she broke her arm when she fell off the monkey bars. I freaked of course since I was 40 mins away at home. I ran out of the house forgetting Ryan and Grace and then remembered when I was in the car. I showed up at school and Justin and his parents beat me there (long story). We had a long (ridiclous) discussion about whether to take her to the peditricians (justin's moms idea) or the ER (my idea) mind you her arm looked like the letter Z and it had lumps the size of baseballs under her skin. We ended up at the pediatricians (some idiot put her in the back seat of his mothers car) they looked at me like I had a third eye and told me to go straight to the hospital. Long story short we were told 2 times by 3 dr's that she would have surgery. I signed consent forms and was discussing the way they would pin it back together. We prayed sooo hard for God to heal her. God answers prayer. She has a cast up to her shoulder and will have it for sometime but no surgery. I was sooo scared we have been thru surgery with her before and I didn't want to go down that road again. Whall she was in the hospital I prayed with her and then we talked and I told her I know God gave her to me to teach me something and she looked me in the eyes and told me "manners". Apparently the little angel thinks her mommy needs a lesson in manners. Oh well she is the most humble, giving, self sacrificing person I know and I am willing to take a lesson in manners from her anyday!!!

My poor son

Please say a prayer for my son Ryan. He was in a bounce house on sunday and hurt his knee pretty bad. He has an MRI on thursday. He is heart broken because he was supposed to go on the church campout this weekend with his dad and was so excited. Please remember him in your prayers because he is in pain both emotionally (about the campout) and physically.

Flat Stanley

This is a picture of Ryan Marissa, and Grace (Zach didn't want one) with Flat Stanley. My niece in New Mexico sent him to stay with us for a few days. We are supposed to send him back with pictures of what he did when he was with us. Zach decided to dress him up with a got milk hat and a milk jug. The girls enjoyed sleeping with him in there beds although I moved him so he wouldn't tear. I hope my sis checks this out to see what Mr. Flat has been up too.
